    Janet Weiss is a rock drummer, formerly for Sleater-Kinney and presently a member of Quasi and Wild Flag. Sleater-Kinney band mates Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker have said of Weiss’s work on their song, Dig Me Out: Weiss made up a beat so solid “you could practically bang your head against it.” Weiss has worked with other groups and artists such as Bright Eyes, Elliott Smith, The Shadow Mortons, The Jicks, The Go Betweens and more.
